Blogger's not cooperating with me; I wanted this sweet picture of baby Shaant at the end of this post. But every time I try to move it down, it disappears. So enjoy this baby eye candy (LOL!) and enjoy my personal favorite St. Patrick's Day song.
Sam and family came over last night; I'd baked her a Red Velvet cake plus fixed chicken and rice in the slow cooker while I was at my weekly writer's meeting. Shaant was alert and happy during his mommy's birthday celebration, and we captured this smile:)
The Unicorn Song, by The Irish Rovers
Enjoy:)

Everyone remember to wear green today, or you'll get pinched! I'm fixing corned beef for dinner and heading over to either Long John Silver's or KFC for some yummy cole slaw.

Trivia fact: The Unicorn Song was written by children's author Shel Silverstein. Will Millar of the Rovers worked on a kids' TV show before he joined the group, and when they needed one more song for their first album he came up with that. :)
(I love it too. Used to sing it to my kids when they were little.)
I did NOT know that! Thanks for the info:)
I can't put pics anywhere but the top on blogger. At wordpress I can put them anywhere.
Such a cutie! :)
Happy St. Patrick's Day.
What a sweetheart!!
The song didn't sound familiar to me, but I listened to it and I recognized it immediately! What a nice blast from the past. :-)
