Not-so-good news: Just discovered I've only sold 3 copies of Wild At Heart, even with the 5-cup review from Dawne last week. Go here to see it: http://www.amazon.com/Wild-at-Heart-ebook/dp/B004GEAOK2/ref=sr_1_2?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1310652983&sr=1-2
In other news, the 'grandkids' are leaving tonight for Holiday World with another set of grandparents, and will be gone until next Tuesday. Today, Mr. Energy has a dental appointment, and then we pack.
Their mom called yesterday with the news she's been hired as a temp at the new amazon.com warehouse in Indianapolis, and moves into her new apartment Aug 1st. I still think she's jumping the gun slightly, by wanting her kids back, but I've seen this happen sooooo many times with her! Things will be fine for about a month, and then everything will blow up in her face. So why put the kids through that? Leave them with us, where they're in a stable environment, happy, and well adjusted! We can get them involved in Scouts and Youth Football, and we're home 24/7. Contrast that with a mom who works ten hours a day, plus three nights a week, and a grandmother who works full time plus travels a great deal, doing consulting work. Who do YOU think the kids would have with during their childhood?
