Saturday's Stupid Saying

Lawyer: Doctor, how many autopsies have you performed on dead people?

Expert Witness: All my autopsies are performed on dead people.

actual testimony taken from court records

If you read yesterday's post, then you know we had an answered prayer in the form of the spouse's first retirement check. Today we are heading out on a much needed spending spree for clothing items for everyone. I need shoes; the SU and daughter need shirts and shorts; the youngling needs summer clothing. We also plan to get a new lawnmower, some charcoal, and some less essential items for the home (we've had to really determine 'wants' from 'needs' in the last several months, ie: Can't the boys use the same shampoo bottle for a while?)

Also, look for the return of my book-buying schedule. I haven't been posting my 'Currently Reading', since I've been doing a lot of re-reading and slowly going through a box of paperbacks, so I will try to remember to start doing this again. In fact.....

Currently Reading: Just finished A Gentleman Always Remembers by Candace Camp. Awesome book! I was in the mood for a good regency, and this one delivers. Now I want to get the other two in this series:) Recommended Read:) Now I'm (finally!) diving into my friend BC Brown's paranormal A Touch of Darkness:) I'm already on Ch 4, and had to force myself to put it down so I could go to sleep last night.
