Hump Day Hook #7

Currently Reading:  Enjoyed the 2nd half of The Manhattan Hunt Club by John Saul better than the first few chapters.  This book began a little grisly, but then morphed into a wonderful tale of survival.  Recommended Read, if you're not squeamish about thrillers.  Next up:  Kat Martin's Scent of Roses.  I'm already five chapters in and finding it hard to put down:)

            Shane’s mouth descended on hers again with more intensity than before.  Raw emotion took over.  The sound of someone clearing their throat made her remember where they were.  Embarrassed, she pulled away and stood up.

            “There are too many people in my room; let’s go to yours.”  She zipped her coat and yanked on her gloves, avoiding eye contact with the Resident Assistant who stood near them.

            “Lynne, are you sure?”  Shane captured one of her hands to stop her.

            “There’s only one way to find out if this will work.”

In Other News....
Heard back from the 500 Festival person:)  And wouldn't you know it, as soon as she satisfied my questions and hung up, the brain thought up five more?  I'll have to contact her again later today.

In the meantime, I'm out of town until later today.  The spouse has a cardiology appointment, and is also hoping to be able to see his chiropractor first.  So here's hoping the snow melts quickly!
