I erred Saturday. Our guests aren't arriving until Wednesday:)
Today, we're off to the grocery store, in order to stock up on staples: Canned veggies, fruit, pasta, whatever we think will get us through until tax time.
Talked to my mom last night: Mrs. Sato (Japanese lady who wrote the amazing memoir which was published back in May) is back in the States, and yes, my father is once again driving her around:) And Mom may also try to get down here for the Homecoming festivites on Friday. I know she'd like to see her grandson in the parade and on the football field!
This afternoon I'll be trying to write some more. I did accomplish 200 words yesterday. Why is it inspiration strikes when it's time to start dinner? Yes, the spouse cooked, but he was rather grouchy that I hadn't cleaned up after his afternoon snacking. Imagine that...He leaves out the bread and peanut butter, but I'm supposed to put it away? He may be 55, but acts more like the 5-yr-old.
I'm off to check in with the blogs to the right. Why don't you do the same and maybe I'll have something more interesting tomorrow?

Men! ;)
Hope you get some writing time in.
I wrote 600 words yesterday (my goal was 3K but oh well). So far today, zero words. Normally I'd be at my daughter's ball game right now, writing as I watch. But I'm contagious so I'm stuck at home at the mercy of the Internet's lure. So here I am.
