Relaxing Day

Currently reading: Am on Ch 21 of Shelley's book
E-Book: Time for Love, by Kelly Kirch. I'm at the halfway point.

I've had a lazy day.

Got up and watched my weekly 90210.

Took my daughter and toddler to Burger King for lunch.

Spent an hour emailing my photos to Walmart. I can pick them up later.

I've made it to Ch 11 on Time for Love. If the kids had been gone, I'd probably had it read by now. But Mommy duty calls...

Papa John's pizza is being delivered in about an hour. Afterwards, I will bathe the baby and read some more. I'll put him in bed and go pick up my pictures. And since I missed my Iron Chef episode (missed it Sun, then on Valentine's Day, and forgot it AGAIN an hour ago...arrggghhh!), my electronically-minded daughter has graciously set up the DVR so her DVR-challenged mom can watch it once it records tonight at 11pm! I'll probably watch it in the morning before church...I just can't stay up that late. Okay, I can, but I (and everyone around me!) pays for it the next day:)

Glad the songs and the limerick were well received:) Time for me to get back to work.

Did you order Kelly's book yet? Oh...you're waiting to see if you've won the contest? That's why I didn't buy some of the others on my list. Seven books at one time is a record for me. It may be a while before I order some more!

so, did you hear back about your submission?

Nothing yet. I emailed on Tues and the editor said she was going to email the screener and get back to me. I don't want to badger her, so I'll probably send another gentle reminder about next Thursday...

So many books...so little reading time. Something has to go. Hmm, I think work for me. It takes up so much time and I just can't go without sleep like I used to.

Sounds positive if they have not dismissed it straight away

That's what I keep telling myself...they're trying to find a place for it...they're trying to find a place for it...the power of positive thinking....

I know what you mean Barb...Maybe I just need massive amounts of caffeine for the next several days?? Had insomnia Wed night, but computer acted up. I really need a laptop or an e-reader!

I didn't know we can email our photos to Walmart for prints! Cool. The helpful things I learn from blogs.

I'm always scared to use my current release or upcoming book as a prize give away as I'm afraid my readers will wait to see if they've won it and hurt sales.

My Saturday was manic, unfortunately. I have a very important, even monumental day at the day job tomorrow, and so I've been getting prepared. I want to be polished and look my best. In fact, I have to sign off line and go to my hair appointment and get my brows waxed. Can you tell I'm stressing?
