Update on MIL:
She's been alert for two days, but still listless. And today she told D she was "ready to go home" and "Please call Father Dave." We already did; he's going over tomorrow to administer Last Rites/Anointing of the Sick.
No matter how much you think you're prepared, seeing a loved one suffer or linger is tough. But there's a lot of love in her room right now.
