BB26: Week 8

Will someone please pour Mack out of that dress?

 HOH:  Chelsie wins!

They watched a series of strange videos, then did the 'before or after' comp.

LMAO.....birds flew over the backyard and one dropped their business on her forehead!!  YUCK!

Chelsie nominates Angela and Kimo.  Leah is her backup, should either of them take themselves off.

Oh Angela....get over yourself!

POV:  OTEV Comp!!!!  Otev, the Trash-Talking Trash Panda:)

Chelsie, Angela, Kimo, Quinn, Makensy, and Rubina

Round 1:  Makensy got the only correct answer!!!!

Crazy....1st time in HISTORY this comp was won in the FIRST ROUND!!!

Mack uses the veto on Angela; Chelsie puts up Quinn

Julie has a mild case of COVID, so Jerry O'Connell steps in to host.

Eviction:

Quinn is evicted, 4-2

OMG Leah....you forgot half your dress!  Mack, you're falling out of yours....and Rubina.....wth are you wearing???

Ainsley Has An Announcement!

Another AI will be joining the house soon:)

Life In Lumber: Y6, W28

 Day 118: Warmer, low 80s

Was called in, due to Hallie NCNS. Discovered #1 was still having chip issues, so went back to #2. Did prelim duties and fronted soda. Was steady until 7, then did my AP4Me and LU. HC Shel sent me to break at 8:45, and when I returned, pulled trash. Final customer left at 9:50. Locked the doors. When Loader Con brought in the concrete, he took the turn too fast and dumped maybe 1/3 of the red bags. While he restacked them, I put my trash in the hopper. HC Shel cleaned me out. Shut the garage door and put up my vest, then returned items to Flooring and Hardware. Clocked out at 10:30.

Outfit:  Black Mom tee, dark jeggings, large gold hoops

Today should be a National Day of Mourning,....James Earl Jones passed away around 5pm.  RIP Darth Vader and Mufasa.

Day 119: Hot, 91

Arrived and took over for Alice; discovered the chip reader on #1 was still acting up, so moved over to #2. Really only had 2 'rushes'....one when I arrived and the other after Marilyn asked me to do the soda count!  Did get it done by 7. Swept, did my LU, and discovered I'm getting a .75 raise, effective Oct 4th!  Going up to $16/hr!  Watched Nick place a Kobalt Gangbox on a high shelf, first with the Ballymore, then with the order picker, to straighten it out. Loader Joe took the hopper around and brought in the concrete; HC Kay cleaned me out. Returned items to Plumbing, Tools, and Aisle  32. Clocked out at 10:30.

Sold a book to Ted Hazelwood:)

Outfit:  Spare Parts tee, faded cut off capris, silver/blue/pink hoops

Day 120: Rain, mid-70s

Arrived; did prelim duties and checked out the occasional customer. Fronted soda.  After Pro Kath left at 5, did my LU and wrote. Was promised a break at 6:30....then 7:30.....then HC Shel gave me a 15 at 7:30, where I cleaned out the coffee pot, then she came back after closing Garden and sent me to my hour lunch at 8:20. Came back and pulled trash; put away what little soda we needed,  and did a quick sweep of the floor. Sanitized the coffee bar. Final customer was at 9:55; locked the doors after he left and sent the trash out with Loader Joe, who also brought in the concrete. HC Shel cleaned me out; returned items to Roofing, Electrical, and Hardware. Clocked out at 10:30.

My sense of humor kicked in at one point:  Customer: "We're not from around here."  Me:  "I won't hold it against you."  LMAO!

Outfit:  Black Alaskan Hwy tee, dark jeggings.

Sold a book to Pauline Mangin:)

Day 121:  Rare Sun Hot, Mid 80s

Store Meeting (6am-7:45):  Enjoyed bagals, apple slices, cheese, chocolate milk, and an airy cruller. Won a fire extinguisher. Scott showed the pic of Amy and I sitting in the rocking chairs.

Regular Shift:  Arrived and took over for Marilyn, and was relieved to see Halle was with me the 1st 2 hours. We were busy and I worked through my break. She went to relieve Deja, and HC Kay came down at 6 to give me mine. Returned and pulled trash, swept, mucked the mats at Reg 2 and 3.  Locked the doors at 8; Loader Vince brought in the concrete and took the trash to the hopper. Final customer was at 8, all decked out in Green Bay; I was wearing Colts.  Told her I was NOT going to make her go through SCO!  Clocked out at 8:30

Outfit:  Blue Manning jersey, faded cut off capris, Colts earrings

Colts lost, 16-10.  When I put it all on, the score was 10-0, Green Bay.  So it helped, lol....

BB26: Week 7

Wow....the aftermath of Tucker leaving!  Angela is shocked to tears when Kimo revealed he voted to evict her; Quinn happy-dancing all over the diary room and the bathroom, and admitting he was wearing Rubina's skirt?  Is this kid also LGBTQ?

HOH: The egg /chicken wire challenge!

Quinn drops egg; becomes Have-Not, followed by Kimo and Makensy.

Quinn wins!  Does this still mean he's a Have-Not?  LMAO!

He nominates Angela, Rubina (noooo!), and Kimo

Q, what kind of pants are you wearing???  It looks as if a patchwork quilt was made into pants....or shorts were lengthened by other fabrics???

POV:  Quinn, Angela, Rubina, Kimo, Joseph, and Leah

In the dark comp!  Leah wins!!!  Quinn tossed the one item he needed away, then couldn't figure out what was wrong.

Leah uses it on Angela; Quinn puts up Joseph.

Ooooh, the green-eyed monster has hit Chelsie, watching Cam and Mack snuggle!

AI Arena: Rubina, Kimo, Joseph

Untangle comp!  Rubina wins!!!!  I thought she might; she's the smallest:)

Yikes...Mack has her dress on backwards again!!!  Or did Leah wear it a few weeks ago???  Okay; it's a halter top....in that case, thank GOD she's small-busted!  Who the hell designed that monstrosity?  3 bows in the front, with cut-outs between them.  Ugh.  She also acts as if the dress is too tight....then why wear it???

Eviction:

Joseph is evicted, 4-3:) Last person before Jury begins.

Ainsley's Surprise:

No More AI ARENA!!!!!

Life In Lumber: Y6, W27

Day 113:  Sunny, low 80s

Arrived and took over for Alice, whom Jeremy told me had put in her 2 week notice.  ASM SCh MAY offer that shift to me again, but 1) I'd have to be at work by 8am; 2) I wouldn't have the freedom or the counter space to write again (I'd be on Reg #2); and 3) I'd be expected to cook dinner every night. The only GOOD things would be, no weekends and I would no longer have to do closing duties or soda count.

Shift was a good one; was busy for an hour, then swept, did my LU and AP4Me, and wrote, FINISHING The Present Dilemma!!  Sanitized the coffee bar and the counters, then locked the doors, took the trash to the hopper. HC Shel cleaned me out, and after Loader Joe brought in the concrete, closed the door and returned items to Tools, Plumbing, Hardware, Toys, and some hangers to the central clothing horseshoe.  Put up my vest and clocked out at 10:30.

Outfit:  Vegas Indian Motorcycle tee; faded jeggings; dream catchers

Day 114: Sunny, 88

Arrived and took over for Alice. Did prelim duties, then needed an emergency pit stop....thank god Loader Joe stepped up! Came back, did my LU and printed my paystub. Fronted soda, and then....needed another emergency pit stop!  Thank god this one was a false alarm. I guess from not on, no more eating D2K before work!  Had a rush at 7 and ran out of $1s....but couldn't call until nearly 8, so hopped to #2. Swept entire area, then HC Kay sent me to break at 8:30. I'd gotten 6 surveys, whoot!  After break, I pulled the trash, mucked the mats, sanitized the coffee bar. Loader Joe took the hopper while Loader Charles brought in the concrete.....and ran out of gas IN THE MIDDLE of the doorway!  Joe swapped out the propane tanks, enough so C could finish bringing in the concrete and park the forklift. Then swapped out the tanks again and put up the hopper.  I shut the door and returned items to Tools and Hardware.

Outfit:  Mama Bear tee, faded cut off capris, small gold hoops

Off tomorrow!

Day 115: Sunny, mid-80s

Arrived and took over for Alice; did prelim duties and LU. Didn't get busy until closer to 6, then was steady for an hour. Swept; HC Austin sent me to break at 8:30. Returned and pulled trash, then sanitized the registers and coffee bar. Loader Vince brought in the concrete and took the trash. Returned items to Plumbing, Tools, Fashion Bath, Paint, and Hardware. Clocked out at 10:30.

Outfit:  Blue Vancouver Aquarium tee, faded cut off capris, sea horses.

Day 116:  Rare Sat Sunny, Low 70s

Arrived and was busy for 90 mins. Did prelim duties and my LU. Swept the area and fronted soday. HC Austin sent me to break at 8:30 and when I returned, he'd already pulled all the trash. Final customer left at 9:45. Locked the doors at 10; ASM Charlie brought in the concrete and took my cardboard box to the hopper. HC Austin cleaned me out; returned items to Gitters and Plumbing. Put up my vest and clocked out at 10:30.

Outfit:  Dept of Having Fun tee, dark jeggings, silver chains

Day 117:  Rare Sun Cool; high 60s

Walked into a sh*tshow....Marilyn was slammed; Reg #1 was having chip issues; Robin called in; Loader Vince called in. I was busy until 6:30, then did soda count and prelim duties. Was about to go to break when  my customers who wanted to set up a delivery were ready, and Kim didn't know how to do it.  I took care of it, then needed and o/r....and so did Kim on 2. Used Jeremy's register for stragglers, when ASM Chris finally showed up.  Afterward, I escaped for 15 mins, and when I returned, pulled trash and put away the soda. Final customer left at 7:55. Did get my LU done, but no sweeping or sanitizing. Loader Con brought in the concrete; ASM Kari cleaned me out. Shut the door and returned an item to Lights, then put up my vest, took the leftover soda to the front, and clocked out at 8:35.

Outfit:  Blue paisley blouse, dark jeggings, thin gold hoops
