1) Discovered Dolly Parton passed away today.
2) Customer was upset because I was unable to return the lumber that was wrongly delivered. All I could do was email Crystal and explain the situation, and have her modify it. But customer got mad and said he'd bring in the boards himself, then left without paying for the correct ones he wanted delivered.
2) Customer asked if he could pay his MLRW card with his MLPRW. Umm, no.
3) Customers arrived 9:20 and were still trying to get paint mixed at 9:50. *eye roll* It was after 10 when they paid and left.

2) Customer argued with me over rewards vs card. "I don't have it with me, so don't worry about it." I shut up and totalled him out.
3) Saw Wally!
4) Annoyed customer from yesterday returned, bringing back the wrong boards delivered. Returned them, then we set up a delivery for Friday with drywall and 2x12s. He was in a MUCH better mood!

3) Had a fairly good shift; felt good, so did some more cleaning and didn't need to sit the entire time.
4) Discovered my hours are getting cut again; since Daylight Savings Time is no more, the store will be closing at 9pm beginning Sept 14th. Which means I'm going down to 22-30 hours per week, depending on my travel schedule.

1) Day began with Kid's Day at the Farmer's Market and seeing Miss B selling cookies and bread; then to Sam Williams' viewing (couldn't attend funeral, since had to work); and a kid banging on our back door so hard he knocked the plexiglass out of it. Reported to police; turns out the officer KNOWS the kid who might have done it (S saw him run away and A sent her mom pics of two boys who were harassing her).
2) Got to work and found out someone drove into the LU lawnmowers! Theresa had video of aftermath.
3) Customer spoke so fast my brain couldn't keep up.
4) Accidently hit customer with rubber spa hose after we measured it. Gave them 10% off.

2) Customer walked in, passed the posted store times, to ask what time we closed. People can't read........
3) Had a small 'rush' at close....4 customers. I was locking the doors when a customer pulled up to ask he could get 'just one sheet' of either drywall or OSB. Told him no.
