 Day 125: Rain, low 70s

Arrived and took over for Kem. Did the prelim duties, and after Pro Kath left at 5, did my LU and AP4Me.  SM Jeff called me the 'survey queen', after getting 21 surveys last week (only got 2 today). Went to lunch at 7:30, then HC Shel paged me at 8:10. Called her back; she thought my break was over.  Nope, get an hour.  She apologized, and I resumed reading. Returned and pulled trash, then discovered my broom and dustpan missing from the locker!  Locked the doors at 10; Loader Con took the trash and brought in the concrete; HC Shel cleaned me out; returned items to Plumbing, Electrical, Tools, Paint, Hardware, and ISLG. Put up my vest and clocked out at 10:25.

Outfit:  Blue MVP tee, long capris, silver chains

Off the next two days; Daughter has endoscopy and colonoscopy tomorrow, and the SU has a cardiology appt on Wed.

Day 126: Rain, high 70s

Arrived and took over for Kem. After Pro Kath left, did the prelim duties. Was fairly steady until 6, when HC Shel sent me to lunch. Returned and swept, then pulled trash at 8:30. Mucked the mats and sanitized the registers and coffee bar. Final customers were at 9:45. Loader Con watched the regeister while I took a pit stop, then locked the doors when HC Shel cleaned me out. Closed the garage door and took the trash to the hopper....then discovered I'd not actually CLOSED the left side door!  Took some good-natured ribbing from ASM Alex. Returned an item to Plumbing, then put up my vest. Clocked out at 10:30.

Day 127:  Rare Sat Light rain, low 70s

Arrived and took over for Debi. Was busy for an hour, then did the prelim duties. Began sweeping at 7; did my LU; Brent brought down a cinnamon roll with rum glaze that was AMAZING!  HC Austin sent me to break at 8, and when I returned, I finished sweeping and pulled trash. Sanitized the coffee bar. Locked the doors at 10; Loader Charles brought in the concrete and Loader Jared took my trash to the hopper. Returned items to Electrical, Plumbing, Lights, ISLG, and Flooring.  Clocked out at 10:30.

Day 128:  Rare Sun Cloudy, mid 70s

Arrived and sent Marilyn to break Did my LU, and rang up customers.  Did soda count. Marilyn left at 5 and was steady for an hour, then Ivree sent me to break. Returned and pulled trash. Final customer left at 7:55. Loader Vince brought in the concrete and took my trash to the hopper.  Put up my vest and clocked out at 8:20.

BB26: Week 9

 HOH Comp:  Jankie's World:) Pizza, Ice Cream, Dancing, and Singing ALL WEEK LONG!

Leah wins by holding her marshmallow to the fire for over 9 hours!! 

T'Kor dropped 1st, followed by Kimo, Mack, Rubina, Angela, then Cam.

Arrived at 3 and took over for Dawson. Was fairly steady, then HC Kay sent me to lunch at 4:30. Returned and was busy; HC Kay had done the soda count, so in between customers, I was putting it away. Didn't get done until after 9. Did take a pit stop around 8:45. Got 10 surveys filled:)  Loader Con watched the register while I emptied the coffee pot. Pulled trash; did my LU and AP4Me. Locked the doors at 10 and after HC Kay cleaned me out, took the trash to the hopper and returned items to Plumbing and Tools. Put up my vest and clocked out around 10:25.

Started feeling puny....hope I feel better tomorrow.  Have class reunion on Friday!

Day 123: Hot, 90s

Arrived at 4 and took over for Pro Jer. Did the prelim duties, then was fairly busy until 6. Swept and mucked the mats. HC Kay sent me to lunch at 7, and when I returned, did my LU and checked my mail. Sanitized the registers and coffee bar. Final customer left at 9:45. Locked the doors at 9:55; Loader Joe took the hopper; Loader Con brought in the concrete. HC Kay cleaned me out, and returned items to Tools, Aisle 10, Hardware, and Kids. Felt about the same as yesterday. Clocked out at 10:20.

Day 124:  Hot, high 80s

Arrived and took over for Alice, who was headed down to cover Robin's break in Garden. Was fairly steady until 5, then did the prelim duties and LU. HC Kay sent me to lunch at 6:30, and when I returned, swept the area and pulled trash.. Ended up getting 8 surveys, so ASM Shan gave me two fall candles. HC Kay gave me a break at 9:45; cleaned out the coffee por and retrieved small trash bags. Locked the doors at 10; Loader Vince brought in the concrete and took the trash.. Returned items to Plumbing, Tools, and Fashion Bath. Put up my vest and clocked out at 10:20,

 Day 118: Warmer, low 80s

Was called in, due to Hallie NCNS. Discovered #1 was still having chip issues, so went back to #2. Did prelim duties and fronted soda. Was steady until 7, then did my AP4Me and LU. HC Shel sent me to break at 8:45, and when I returned, pulled trash. Final customer left at 9:50. Locked the doors. When Loader Con brought in the concrete, he took the turn too fast and dumped maybe 1/3 of the red bags. While he restacked them, I put my trash in the hopper. HC Shel cleaned me out. Shut the garage door and put up my vest, then returned items to Flooring and Hardware. Clocked out at 10:30.

Today should be a National Day of Mourning,....James Earl Jones passed away around 5pm.  RIP Darth Vader and Mufasa.

Day 119: Hot, 91

Arrived and took over for Alice; discovered the chip reader on #1 was still acting up, so moved over to #2. Really only had 2 'rushes'....one when I arrived and the other after Marilyn asked me to do the soda count!  Did get it done by 7. Swept, did my LU, and discovered I'm getting a .75 raise, effective Oct 4th!  Going up to $16/hr!  Watched Nick place a Kobalt Gangbox on a high shelf, first with the Ballymore, then with the order picker, to straighten it out. Loader Joe took the hopper around and brought in the concrete; HC Kay cleaned me out. Returned items to Plumbing, Tools, and Aisle  32. Clocked out at 10:30.

Day 120: Rain, mid-70s

Arrived; did prelim duties and checked out the occasional customer. Fronted soda.  After Pro Kath left at 5, did my LU and wrote. Was promised a break at 6:30....then 7:30.....then HC Shel gave me a 15 at 7:30, where I cleaned out the coffee pot, then she came back after closing Garden and sent me to my hour lunch at 8:20. Came back and pulled trash; put away what little soda we needed,  and did a quick sweep of the floor. Sanitized the coffee bar. Final customer was at 9:55; locked the doors after he left and sent the trash out with Loader Joe, who also brought in the concrete. HC Shel cleaned me out; returned items to Roofing, Electrical, and Hardware. Clocked out at 10:30.

My sense of humor kicked in at one point:  Customer: "We're not from around here."  Me:  "I won't hold it against you."  LMAO!

Day 121:  Rare Sun Hot, Mid 80s

Store Meeting (6am-7:45):  Enjoyed bagals, apple slices, cheese, chocolate milk, and an airy cruller. Won a fire extinguisher. Scott showed the pic of Amy and I sitting in the rocking chairs.

Regular Shift:  Arrived and took over for Marilyn, and was relieved to see Halle was with me the 1st 2 hours. We were busy and I worked through my break. She went to relieve Deja, and HC Kay came down at 6 to give me mine. Returned and pulled trash, swept, mucked the mats at Reg 2 and 3.  Locked the doors at 8; Loader Vince brought in the concrete and took the trash to the hopper. Final customer was at 8, all decked out in Green Bay; I was wearing Colts.  Told her I was NOT going to make her go through SCO!  Clocked out at 8:30

Colts lost, 16-10.  When I put it all on, the score was 10-0, Green Bay.  So it helped, lol....

BB26: Week 7

Wow....the aftermath of Tucker leaving!  Angela is shocked to tears when Kimo revealed he voted to evict her; Quinn happy-dancing all over the diary room and the bathroom, and admitting he was wearing Rubina's skirt?  Is this kid also LGBTQ?   

HOH: The egg /chicken wire challenge!
